James "Animal" Allen (Ving Rhames),
is now serving a life sentence for murder in prison. Meanwhile his son on the
outside is being framed for a killing he didn’t commit and faces serious jail
time himself. To help his son out, Animal has no choice but to return to his
violent past as a money fighter. His new role brings him power which he will
soon have to use as he uncovers a conspiracy to spark an all out race war
between the gangs who reside in the penitentiary.
