Owen McCabe (Paul Schneider) just
had his heart broken by his girlfriend and found his best friend Allison (Poppy
Montgomery) in bed (his bed!) with his buddy Stephanie (Tori Spelling). What's a
guy to do but swear off love - and his whole life? He packs his bags, burns his
bridges and vows to leave L.A. forever. But on his way out of town, Owen meets
Val (Jennifer Westfeldt), a pretty animal rights activist who may just be the
one. Should he stay and pursue Val, go east and start a new life, or is there
something else keeping him tied to the City of Angels?
